Adulterated peanut oil
After adulteration, the transparency decreases. Quickly pour the oil from the bottle into a cup and observe the oil bubbles. Pure peanut oil has large bubbles surrounded by many small bubbles that are not easy to disperse. When it is mixed with cottonseed oil or wool cotton oil, the oil bubbles are slightly green-yellow or brown-black. You can smell the smell of cottonseed oil. If you add a few drops of iodine to the oil mixed with starch such as rice soup or noodle soup, it will appear blue-purple or blue-black. Or put it in a transparent cup and observe it after two days. Cloud-like suspended matter will inevitably appear.
Adulterated sesame oil
After adulteration, the color becomes darker. For example, if it is mixed with cottonseed oil, it will appear black-red, and if it is mixed with rapeseed oil, it will appear dark yellow. In addition, sesame oil itself has no oil bubbles. The oil bubbles that appear when pouring the oil disappear very easily. If the oil bubbles disappear very slowly, it indicates adulteration. You can also use chopsticks to dip a drop and drop it on the calm water surface. Pure sesame oil will appear as thin, colorless and transparent large oil bubbles, while adulterated oil will appear as thicker small oil bubbles.
