Non-GMO corn from major corn-producing areas in Hebei Province is selected. After cleaning, hulling, and screening, the corn germ is preserved intact (approximately 10% of the corn weight, with an oil content of 80%), and moldy kernels are removed to ensure a single, traceable source of oil.

 

Pre-treatment Process:

  • Washing and Dehulling: Removes surface impurities and separates germ from starch.
  • Cooking and Low-Temperature Roasting: ≤100°C, softens germ tissue, improves pressing efficiency.

 

Oil Extraction and Refining:

  • Pressing Method: Hydraulic or screw pressing, no chemical solvents throughout.
  • Refining Process: Degumming (removes phospholipids), deacidification (neutralizes free fatty acids), decolorization (activated clay adsorbs pigments), deodorization (steam distillation removes odors).
  • Nitrogen-filled packaging with light-proof packaging to extend shelf life.
