Color observation method
Generally speaking, peanut oil can be divided into raw and cooked. Raw peanut oil is generally light orange-yellow in color; cooked peanut oil is dark orange-yellow, both of which are relatively fresh and transparent. Pure peanut oil generally condenses and does not flow when the temperature is below 3°C. If it is mixed with lard or palm oil, it will begin to condense and not flow when the temperature is 10°C.
Smell method
Drop a few drops of oil on the palm of your hand, rub it with your fingers to feel the slight heat, and blow a burst of hot air with your mouth. If it is pure peanut oil, it will have a strong unique peanut fragrance without any odor.
